9/13/2026 Rules Addendum #2:
Effective immediately, the following verbiage under “Participant” in the 2026 UMSS Rule Book will be added and enforced: “The UMSS is an entry point into the sport created for the development of its drivers who race for a hobby. Any sprint car driver who has extensive experience and success at a high level will not be allowed to participate in any UMSS event as a driver. In addition, any other driver with extensive experience and success at a high level in any other form of motor sports will need permission from the UMSS before participating. (As an example, an experienced driver who has multiple wins at a track or raced with a series that runs on a mostly weekly basis, such as Knoxville Raceway, River City Speedway, Jackson Motorplex, Huset’s Speedway, IRA, ASCS, World of Outlaws, and High Limit Racing.) This decision is at the sole discretion of the UMSS.”
2026 Rules Addendum #1 (posted 4/1/26):
The Hoosier RaceSaver right rear tire will be allowed in the PIRTEK Diamond Series, UMSS traditionals and wings during the 2026 season. The yellow walled tire is not.
